If you went to the V8's at Winton i'm the kid that stands
out the front of my house with my H.S.V, Dealer Team flag.
Which H.S.V. Dealer Team gave. They also gave me a hat, a
shirt and stuff so i would like to thank them. They also gave
me the chance to meet Rick Kelly and sit in his car THREE
TIMES! They also gave a door of his.

Am a salesman for a large bedding company in Victoria, First
discovered the V8's a few years ago at the AGP, Before this
i had always liked the shape of holdens on the road.
First round that I saw on tv was Shanghai and have followed
Todd Kelly since, Up until the end of last year i have been
a HRT fan but now shifted to JDR, Other drivers that I like
are Rick Kelly, Cam McConville and Greg Murphy. I have interests
in all things with racing and photography also, I attend several

I love all things about V8 Supercars and have great a passion
for NASCAR. I live on the Gold Coast and wouldn't swap it
for the world. I work as a delivery driver Monday through
Friday and live and dream motorsport on the weekends.
My favourite track by far is Bathurst and I look forward to
making the trek up there again this year (If the wife lets
me).

My husband Alan & I have recently relocated to Launceston,
Tasmania from Western Australia & we absolutely love it
here!
My first V8 event was Barb's but it didn't take long to discover
all the many wonderful tracks around Australia. We have been
to Darwin, Tassie, Indy, Eastern Creek, Phillip Island and
this year will be my first visit to Bathurst. Can you believe
that, never been to the big one on the mountain but that all
changes October this year.
I have met so many wonderful people being involved in this
sport and the best person I have ever met is HSV15 (April
member of the month, you rock Cath!!!) and I've met Skaifey
many times.

I'm in Marketing and love it!! I have always had a passion
for promotion and am fascinated by the many different ways
that people promote themselves. I am the State Marketing Manager
for a Company in Victoria and also run my own direct Marketing
and promotions Company in the small amount of spare time I
have.
I love the V8's, always have and always will. It started as
a young girl with an older brother and father who loved the
sport - The family has always been Holden, dad in his day
was a big Ute man and always had the latest and greatest!
I think I may have been concieved in the back of one of those
Utes!!!
I attended my first Bathurst at 15 with my brother and attend
as many rounds each year as time allows.
I have attached the photo of myself and Rick because he is
my pick for this years Championship.
I admire honesty, integrity and anybody who doesnt give up
until they get what they want. I believe that you can have
whatever you want in life if you want it badly enough and
that we make our own luck and create our own oppurtunities.
I spend my spare time renovating my renovators delight, spending
time with friends and as much time as I possibly can with
my family - they are the most important thing in my life.
I am currently single. My career ambition is to work in Motorsport
Marketing.

He loves TV, fish and chips, football, his pets and is very
tolerant of his parents and their combined love for V8 Supercars.
Born into a world of red, he has carried the tradition one
generation further with his love of Holden and motorsport.
He has attended 4 Clipsal 500's, numerous Speedway meetings
and the development series out at Mallala.
His least favourite drivers are Jamie Whincup and Craig Lowndes,
but he does really like Jason Bright! Poor Michael was dared
by his mother to get autographs from Craig and Jamie at this
year's Clipsal, never one to not take a challenge, Michael
agreed, and now has their autographs on the under side of
his prized Jack Daniels hat!
Michael was fortunate before the start of the Saturday race
in the Clipsal 500 last year to have this photo taken with
Paul Dumbrell on the start grid.

Well my first TV memories are of watching the Great Race
in 1981 with Dick Johnson behind the wheel and in the same
year the Parramatta Eels in the League Grand Final. I support
both to this day.
My interest in league and other codes has suffered in recent
years as a result of the shameful things that always seem
to occur when you get footballers involved. It's a pity that
the more mainstream media don't pick up on the fact that most
race car drivers live by a standard which is 'exemplary' despite
being portrayed as 'hoons' and that footballers are 'habitual
offenders' despite being portrayed as 'rolemodels'.
Throughout the 80's mum and dad would take my brother and
I to the Newcastle Speedway and it was a real highlight! Ah
the smells, the dirt, the excitement in the air and the crashes!
I went to the Eastern Creek Triple Challenge in the early
90's and witnessed my first drag races and my circuit racing
which was the then new 5L V8 Falcons and Commodores. That
Peter Jackson Ford of Glenn Seton, gee it absolutely screamed
down the straight! What a fantastic noise!
On the telly if there is motorsport, I will be watching it
or taping it for viewing later, almost guaranteed. Aside from
the Supercars which is my favourite of all sports, then the
next in line would be F1, MotoGP, NASCAR and WRC. Local categories
such as the Little Aussie Racers, Fujitsu, Carrera Cup, Saloon
Cars, FFord, GT Performance and drag racing are of great value
too.
Outside of Motorsport, I enjoy watching League, Union, the
odd game of AFL, Boxing and Golf. About once or twice a month,
I get out to play a round of Golf, just wish I was better...
I also enjoy keeping fit, (previously doing some triathlons,
which got put on hold with my studies which have recently
finished), with riding my push bike, swimming, jogging and
going to the gym. Just starting this all again.
In the last few months I finished my HV Systems Electricians
Trade and concurrently my Adv Dip Electrical Engineering.
Currently I'm employed as a Electrical Fitter Mechanic but
doing an Engineering Officer job which is a satsifying challenge.
Last May I became the proud father for the first time with
a little boy Samuel (pictured) with partner Rachael.

| I have been following motorsports since
1972 when my late Dad took me up to Bathurst to watch my first
race. He & Harry Firth were mates in the army so he took
me up there to meet him. Harry introduced me to a young driver
who he reckon was going to be Australia's best ever by the name
of Peter Brock & as history shows Harry was right.
We stood in the pouring rain & watched Brocky & his
Torana drive the GTHO's crazy & of course win his first
ever Bathurst & I was hooked on motor racing & I have
been going up to the mountain every year since (except 87
when I was O/S).
My interests are collecting Brocky memorbillia for my Brock
Bar & alll of his model race cars in 1/18 ( I've got them
all) - I own a 1975 HJ GTS Monaro Coupe in near original condition
& I am also the Secretary of the Monaro Car Club of NSW.
I have two children - a 13 year old boy & a almost 2
year old daughter who are also car crazy - I surf, play golf,
watch my young bloke play sports each weekend & I work
as a Handyman at a local school.
I watch the V8's every round & I attend at 3-4 each year
- I will be going to Hidden Valley, Eastern Ck, Oran Pk, Bathurst
& hopefully Indy in 2008. I don't follow a particular
driver or team but am a HOLDEN man through & through as
my Dad once said to me "I never want to hear you say
that 4 lettered word in my house ever"
Attached is a photo of me & my boy Jamie on the mountain
this year just after the race in our camp site 'Sulman Castle'
