Hello and Welcome to the V8 Daily Dump
The V8 Daily Dump commenced operations in Australia in November
2003. The basis of this site is to allow V8 Supercar Fans
to login on and get up to the minute information on the V8 Supercar
Series and V8 Development Series. The site also has Fan pictures,
Fan Stories, techincal info, race result's as they come to hand,
points systems (including our own team and manufacturer championships)
plus much more...
NB: The team members and their titles are presented in such a
way as the structure of a modern day V8 Supercar Team
(Team Owner / Technical Director / Team Engineer / Chief Tactician
/ Team Psychologist / PR Communications).
Ben Keed
Team Owner
Ben founded the V8 Daily Dump in November 2003 and has watched
the site grow into the informative V8 Supercar site it is today.
Ben owns a Computer Consultancy business in Sydney which is under
the V8 Daily Dump umbrella but resides in Nevada, United States.
In his spare time Ben enjoys Trial Bike riding, watching V8 Supercar
events and spending quality time with family and friends. Ben admits
he is a bit of a control freak and most of his friends will tell
you that. He values a high standard of work and hopes the V8 Daily
Dump showcases this.
Keith Thomson
Technical Director
Keith akas 'Brute' lives on the Gold Coast. He's a passionate V8
Supercar fan and an automotive writer. You wont find his name
on any book, but 10,000 mechanics around Australia and New Zealand
read what he writes every day in working on your motor cars. Keith's
job has him dissecting all the latest electronic systems from manufacturers
all around the world and writing about these systems so your local
motor mechanic knows how to fix them when they go wrong. How did
Keith get involved with The V8 Daily Dump, well he was dribbling
on about something or other on a forum and Ben asked if he could
use it on The V8 Daily Dump and its gone on from there. Keith
does not profess to know all, but does try to be as un-biased and
informative as he can in the articles that he writes.
Mark Greenwood
Team Engineer
Marky Mark lives on Sydney's north shore and whilst he spends his
week days programming website's, most of his spare time is spent
obsessing over motorsports and his big boys toys. If it goes fast,
Mark follows it! If you've got a question about a series other than
the Aussie V8's Mark is probably the guy to ask. Whilst Mark did
a few bits and pieces of the original V8 Daily Dump, the new site
programming is all his. A specialist in interfaces, database solutions
and a bit of a perfectionist, Mark too hopes you all love the new
V8 Daily Dump.
Michael Banks
Chief Tactician
Banksie lives in the suburbs of Melbourne, where he thrives on Melbourne's
plethora of sports on offer. He loves his AFL, cricket and will
support any other team playing from Melbourne. Motorsport and V8's
in particular are his biggest passion though. On Saturday mornings
in winter, Banksie can be seen playing footy for his local team.
Banksie loves to catch up with his mates, make sure his tomatoes
are growing well and spending time with family. When asked if he
would contribute articles, Banksie jumped at the chance.
V8 SuperBabe
Team Psychologist
V8SuperBabe uses her many contacts within the ranks of V8 Supercars
and the Fujitsu series to write articles on the drivers and the
series in general. Single, sexy and successful coupled with
a large dose of intelligence (and integrity dont for
a second think shell reveal her sources!), V8 SuperBabe will
be regularly writing exclusively for the V8 Daily Dump in 2007 about
the things that matter most to the women who love V8s. Feel
free to drop her a line with any questions you have, or even ideas
for what you want to read in her next instalment!
Wendy Vreeken
PR / Communications
Wendy lives in Perth's southern suburbs and is our contact over
in the west. She loves to travel and has lived in London and explored
most of Europe. She also loves to hang out with friends and her
family will always come first, but when it comes to the V8supercars
watch out . On race weekends you will find her or planted in front
of the television not to be disturbed. She has been to Bathurst
and ever year you will find her at Perth's local round Barbagallo.
Her dream is to have gone to every round.
