Are there any rules about when you have outgrown the Dunlop series. It must be his ego that saves him from being embarrassed for having to stay in the Dunlop series to find any shallow success.

There are no rules regarding eligibility in the Dunlop series. For Dumbrell, it keeps him sharp for the enduros. Dumbrell has had his fair share of success in the main series.

It also provides a yardstick to everyone else on how they are travelling.

Spot on Banksie. He provides a very good yardstick for the newer drivers. Without someone like him how would they really know how they were travelling.
