1 weekend down, another to go at The Bend.

The story of the weekend was blistering tyres. Throw in rubbing panels, penalties to big names and some surprisingly good racing, it made for an entertaining weekend.

McLaughlin and Coulthard were very fast all weekend, the Red Bulls strong but made too many mistakes, whilst the Kelly cars were strong after being nowhere in Townsville.

A different track layout next weekend will likely mean the tyre blistering won't be a problem. But no certainties on that. Last chance to get ready ahead of Bathurst.
