"Tough day condition-wise, confusing, to be honest. The track is wet, then it dries, then it's wet again. We made a lot of changes, it's just a matter of analysing it properly. We really needed a dry Friday, as we have never been competitive here in the dry. We have a lot to work on, the wet wasn't ideal, but it's all part of motorsport, we will just take an educated guess tomorrow based on the conditions. Bit of work to do overnight. "

Shane van Gisbergen - Car #97
"The first session was really good. We learnt a lot and made some progress, however that last session the conditions changed too much, so I think we went backward. I think we should take what we learned in the first session into tomorrow. The weather is unpredictable, but it should be a better day tomorrow. The car felt OK, we were competitive, so it is hard to say what we need to do overnight. When the track started to dry out other people started to go faster, so it's hard to know. We are hoping for a dry practice tomorrow."
