Freightliner & Alliance Truck Parts double for AGP
For this weekend's Melbourne 400 event, Nick Percat will be donning team-mate Tim Slade's Freightliner Racing livery (as seen at the Superloop Adelaide 500 event) and Tim Slade will be showcasing a contrasting yellow, Alliance Truck Parts livery.

Alliance Truck Parts continue to strengthen their relationship with Slade and the Freightliner Racing team, with more of the yellow branding featuring on Slade's Supercar. This year, Slade will switch between the two, black Freightliner livery and yellow Alliance Truck Parts livery at different events throughout the 2019 season.

Alliance Truck Parts partners with some of the best suppliers in the industry to offer an affordable alternative to original first fit parts for heavy commercial vehicles; with their parts being backed by a nationwide 12 month/100,000km warranty.

Tim Slade said "The BJR Supercars have traditionally been strong at the Melbourne event and I'm looking forward to building on what my engineer Tony and the Freightliner Racing crew formed in Adelaide."

"I'm a fan of both the Freightliner and Alliance Truck Parts black and yellow liveries; the car looks good no matter which color is more prominent. Hopefully we can share the love results wise between the two throughout the year."

Nick Percat, the double podium getter at last year's event added "Tim and I had a promising start to our 2019 season in Adelaide. Finishing 4th and 5th in the Sunday race was a strong result and at last year's Melbourne 400 event we had a couple of similar finishes, notably our 3rd and 4th place finish in race three there. It would be great if we can go there again and achieve similar results."

"The Melbourne 400 event was our last podium finish and I know for the team, it's been too long between drinks! They're keen to see Slade and I spray some champagne."

"Having Alliance Truck Parts and Freightliner on both car 14 and 8 at the Melbourne round is very exciting for us," says Daimler Truck and Bus Aftersales and Network Development Director, Greg Lovrich.

"It is a great opportunity to promote the Alliance and Freightliner brands and get our customers involved in the action."

The duo of Slade and Percat will be on track tomorrow for two, half hour practice sessions followed by back to back qualifying sessions for the first two (of four) races at the Melbourne 400 event. These races will mark the 999th and 1000th races in championship history!
