Davison leads Tickford 4-5-6 in Race 10
With cars finishing fourth, fifth and sixth in Race 10, Tickford Racing concluded its Phillip Island SuperSprint on a positive on Sunday afternoon. Will Davison (No. Milwaukee Racing Ford Mustang) was the top finisher on the day, marking his third top four finish of 2019.

Repeating his result from Saturday, Chaz Mostert (No. 55 Supercheap Auto Ford Mustang) finished fifth in Race 10 ahead of Cameron Waters (No. 6 Monster Energy Ford Mustang) in sixth.

Struggling to wrestle pace out of his car on Sunday, Lee Holdsworth finished 14th in Race 10, as he and Mostert's team entry remains fourth in the Supercars teams' championship.

The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship moves on to the Perth SuperNight, May 2-4. The SuperNight format returns at Barbagallo Wanneroo Raceway, with races on both Friday and Saturday nights.

"Obviously it was a really frustrating weekend, for us. We struggled with the car, struggled with grip since Saturday morning, and we couldn't make any inroads with the speed. I felt like we started the weekend with a pretty competitive car and ended up having a car that was off the pace. I felt like I maximised everything out of it, and unfortunately 14th was all we could do today."

Cameron Waters
Practice 4: 1m30.21s, 3rd
Race 10 Quali: 1m30.35s (Q3), 5th
Race 10 Finish: 6th
"Yesterday was very disappointing, we lost a lot of points, but we had a calculated swing at it overnight to try and make the car better, and I think we kind of got there. We missed the mark in some areas today, but sixth is okay. We're just continuing to learn the package we've got and how to make the most out of it."

No. 55 Supercheap Auto Ford Mustang
Chaz Mostert
Practice 4: 1m30.23s, 4th
Race 10 Quali: 1m30.28s (Q3), 3rd
Race 10 Finish: 5th
"Two top fives for the weekend is fantastic, it's good for points, but I think we're still behind the 8-ball. There's a lot of work to be done to get where we need to be, we're leaving a lot of lap time on the board at the moment. But it's nice to get a couple good finishes and sort of reward the boys for all their hard work the last two weeks."

Practice 4: 1m30.70s, 7th
Race 10 Quali: 1m30.38s (Q3), 6th
Race 10 Finish: 4th
"Great result, we had a really good race and improved the car from yesterday, so we can't be too disappointed. Obviously it is disappointing when you're so close to a podium again, but the main thing is we made the car a lot better in race trim. The strategy was better, my start was better, so all in all a good race. We need to try and understand our cars a little better because we changed a lot of stuff over the weekend, and we clearly still have a bit of work to do for those other Mustangs up the front, but it was a good team effort today."

Tim Edwards, Team Principal
"It's great to have the team make some improvement today. We got just about everything we could out of everyone, drivers, crew, engineers, and to do that at the end of two long weeks is great, so we're really proud of the team. Obviously there's still some work to be done and gains to be made to get to the front, but all in all we're pretty happy with today's result, and we'll move on to the next one."
