2010 FUJITSU V8 SUPERCAR SERIES - ROUND 4 Townsville Street Circuit, Townsville, Queensland. 8th to 11th July 2010 STEWARDS SUMMARY UPDATE 5 FINAL: 1815hrs Sunday 11th July 2010 Matters arising from Race 3: The Stewards imposed a Pit Lane Penalty on Car #45 Steve Owen for careless driving, contact on Car #28 David Russell. UPDATE 4: 1330hrs Sunday 11th July 2010 Matters arising from Race 2: The Stewards imposed a Pit Lane Penalty on Car #777 Rodney Jane for careless driving, contact on Car #66 Phil Foster. Following an investigation and an admission of Careless Driving, (contact on Car #58 Drew Russell) the Stewards imposed a Pit Lane Penalty time of 25 seconds to be added to the Race 2 time for Car #26 Luke Youlden. UPDATE 3: 1700hrs Saturday 10th July 2010 Matters arising from Race 1: In accordance with the rules the Stewards permitted Car #75 Aaron McGill to start at the rear of the grid despite not meeting qualifying conditions. The Stewards imposed a Pit Lane Penalty on Car #777 Rodney Jane for careless driving, contact on Car #26 Luke Youlden. UPDATE 2: 1200hrs Saturday 10th July 2010 Matters arising from Qualifying: For failure to engage Pit Lane Limiter for the full length of Pit Lane the Stewards imposed a penalty of Loss of Fastest Lap Time in the session on Car #99 James Moffat. The Stewards imposed a penalty of Loss of Fastest Lap Time in the Session on Car #66 Phil Foster for crossing Blend Line at Pit Exit. The Stewards imposed no penalty for replacement of a tyre due to accidental damage for Car #222 Nick Percat. UPDATE 1: 1630hrs Friday 9th July 2010 Matters arising from Practice: For failure to engage Pit Lane Limiter for the full length of pit lane the Stewards imposed a penalty of Loss of Fastest Lap in the session on the following drivers; Car #46 Geoff Emery Car #75 Aaron McGill The Stewards imposed a penalty of Loss of Fastest Lap Time in the Session on Phil Foster Car #66 for crossing Blend Line at Pit Exit. |
