Lowndes tops the times in regular qualifying at Townsville

TeamVodafone's Craig Lowndes has topped the time sheets in regular qualifying this morning, Lowndes beat team mate Jamie Whincup for the top spot making it a 1-2 for the team. Ford Performance Racing's Mark Winterbottom placed third with Jason Bright and James Courtney rounding out the top 5. A special mention to the Golf Western Oils team who turned Cameron McConville's car around and got it out for qualifying, after the accident in practice yesterday. McConville will start from position 20 for this afternoons race. Yesterday's pace setter Jason Richards will start from position 25th.
